Botox, Dysport, & Xeomin

What are treatments like?

Treatments are simple and take only a few minutes. No preparation is needed prior to a treatment. No local anesthesia is needed.

What results can you expect?

Treatments are a highly effective means of reducing facial wrinkles leading to a more youthful pleasant appearance. The majority of patients find that their results continue to improve with sequential treatments.

How long do treatments last?

In general, neuromodulator injections last 3-4 months. There will certainly be patients in which in lasts 4-6 months, and in rare cases, 2 months. It is also common for first-timers to notice that it may not last as long initially, but may last longer after the second treatment.

How does it work?

Botox injections block certain chemical signals from nerves, mostly signals that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. As the muscle relaxes, the overlying skin relaxes and wrinkles disappear.

Kybella "Deoxycholic Acid"

What is it?

Deoxycholic acid is used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”

How does it work?

The active ingredientis synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, it destroys fat cells, and once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. This results in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin, revealing an improved chin profile. At Years Younger, we use a compounded deoxycholic acid so that we can charge much less than you would pay for brand name Kybella.

How many treatments will I need?

Your specialist will create a tailored treatment plan based on your chin profile. At each treatment, you will be given multiple small injections under your chin. You may receive up to 6 treatment sessions, spaced at least 1 month apart. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 KYBELLA® treatments. 59% of patients received 6 treatments in clinical studies.

Radiesse
Radiesse Filler

How does it work?

Radiesse® works with your body, below the skin’s surface. It is an injectable filler made of synthetic minerals. A gel carrier delivers the particles and holds them in place. When injected, the gel carrier creates a temporary fill, lasting anywhere from three to six months. The calcium particles left behind create a scaffold for your tissue to build around which creates the longer term fill.

What is it made of?

Radiesse® is composed of tiny microspheres of a synthetic material called calcium hydroxylapatite that is combined with a common hydrogel used in a vast array of products. The result is a white, creamy substance with similar structural characteristics as bone and teeth.

Where can it be used?

For facial contouring, Radiesse® can be used for smoothing and contouring smile lines or nasolabial folds,  acne scarring, cheek, chin, or jawline augmentation.

Is there downtime?

Radiesse® allows you to resume your daily activities immediately. You may experience some mild swelling or redness at the injection site that typically last no longer than a day.
